The Flip Runway Refinishing Awards were born out of a need to support and uplift the craftspeople in the furniture refinishing industry. We identified a surprising lack of industry standards and governing bodies specifically for furniture upcycling. By collaborating closely with these immensely talented furniture artists, we felt a powerful urge to celebrate the industry and its dedicated professionals. These awards are our way of acknowledging their remarkable contributions and encouraging their continued innovation and excellence.

Meet Greg and Myra Tomlin-Reed: The Visionaries Behind Flip Runway
We are Greg Reed and Myra Tomlin-Reed, the husband and wife team behind Flip Runway Distribution. Our dedication lies in providing the finest refinishing products available on the market.
Our journey into importing and wholesale paint began ten years ago when we moved business from London and Bournemouth to the Kent countryside and established a retail art gallery and home interiors store. This venture led us to become the UK distributor for Fusion Mineral Paint, a role we proudly held for nearly a decade. During this time, we built a robust network of furniture paint retailers and transformed Fusion Mineral Paint into a well-recognised brand in the UK.
As time went on, we felt the need for greater creative freedom to fully realise our vision. This year, we made the strategic decision to end our distribution partnership with Fusion Mineral Paint and embark on a new journey with Flip Runway Studio. Launching mid-September, Flip Runway Studio will focus on offering high-quality furniture refinishing products, accessories, and creative solutions. Our dedication to craftsmanship and innovation ensures that we maintain high standards of quality, durability, and performance.
