JUDGING CRITERIA

INNOVATION

In applying this criterion, the judges will not be looking at whether or not the work is beautiful or achieved its objectives. They will simply ask: how did this move the game on? To score highly, entrants must show why their work should be considered innovative. For example, was the technical solution new and ingenious? Was the way of working unique? In short, how does your work blaze the way for others to follow?

CRAFT

In applying this criteria, the judges will ask whether this project is a standard bearer for the best of the refinishing industry. Perhaps the project shows off an outstanding creative concept? Perhaps it has design and technique of the first order? Certainly, projects that score well here will be close to flawless, both visually and in terms of how they work.

IMPACT

In applying this criteria, the judges will look at the impact of the work – not just its effectiveness in terms of achieving business objectives but potentially industry impact.
